PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Seagrass Puppy Storage Basket is a handmade storage piece from Vietnam, designed for buyers who want natural home products with a playful, friendly personality. Its soft, rounded body is wrapped in white thread over natural seagrass, and a puppy face is woven right into the front: two round eyes, a big round nose, a simple smile and a pair of long floppy ears, all coiled in black.

Practical and cute at once, it works for toys, stuffed animals, blankets, books and display. It comes in two sizes, so buyers can offer a large and a small option from one design. For importers and retailers, it offers a clear story: natural material, handmade in Vietnam, and a character basket that appeals to parents, gift buyers and children’s room collections.

MADE IN VIETNAM: THE CRAFT BEHIND EVERY BASKET

Vietnam has a long tradition of working with natural fibers, with skills passed down through families and craft villages. Tan Tien Factory builds on this tradition, working with local artisans who know how to coil, bind and shape natural materials into durable, good-looking home products.

Every basket is shaped by hand. The body is coiled round by round, then the face is added: the eyes, nose and ears are coiled separately in black and stitched onto the front, and the mouth is sewn in as a fine line. Each artisan places the features slightly differently, so no two puppies look exactly alike. That gives your customers a product with real character and a story they can trust.

MATERIAL: SEAGRASS

Seagrass is a natural plant fiber that is harvested, dried and twisted into thick, even strands. Coiled and stitched in tight rows, it forms a firm wall with a warm, textured surface. The white thread wrapped around the coils gives the body a fine, rhythmic pattern, while the black details create a strong contrast.

Seagrass is renewable and plastic-free, which matches the growing demand from parents and consumers for safe, natural and eco-friendly products for children’s spaces. It is also lightweight, so the basket is easy to move and ship.

THE PUPPY DESIGN

The face is the signature of this basket. The big black nose and round eyes give it a gentle, cheerful expression, and the long ears hang down on both sides like a real puppy. The design is simple and friendly, so it fits both nurseries and playrooms and works as a decor piece even when empty.

THE ROUNDED SHAPE

The body is wide at the middle and opens at the top, with a flared rim. The wide opening lets children drop toys in and take them out easily, and the full belly gives generous storage space. The shape stands steadily on its own and keeps its form when full or empty.

TWO SIZES, ONE DESIGN

• Large: more capacity for toys, plush animals, blankets and books

• Small: a compact size for small toys, baby items, accessories or a plant cover

The two sizes share the same design, so they look charming as a pair, like a parent and a puppy. Retailers can sell them together as a matching set or separately.

DESIGN DETAILS

The creamy white body and black features make a clean, modern palette that suits Scandinavian, Japandi, boho, coastal, farmhouse and modern interiors. It fits easily with both neutral and colorful children’s rooms. The coils are tight and even, and the ears and nose are firmly stitched on, so the face keeps its shape through daily use.
