PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Seagrass Storage Basket Set is a handmade collection from Vietnam, designed for buyers who want natural home products with a refined look. The set brings together four coordinated pieces: a basket with handles, a round lidded basket, a tall lidded basket and a shallow tray. All four are finished in a bold diagonal pattern of deep brown and creamy white.

Practical and decorative at once, the set works for blankets, toys, laundry, bathroom essentials, fruit and display. For importers and retailers, it offers a clear story: natural seagrass, handmade in Vietnam, and a coordinated set that sells as a ready-made collection rather than a single item.

MADE IN VIETNAM: THE CRAFT BEHIND EVERY BASKET

Vietnam has a long tradition of working with natural fibers, with skills passed down through families and craft villages. Tan Tien Factory builds on this tradition, working with local artisans who know how to coil, stitch and shape natural materials into durable, good-looking home products.

Every basket is shaped by hand. The weaver builds each piece round by round, keeping the coils tight and the stitching even while forming the body, the lid and the handles. The brown and white sections are planned from the start so that the diagonal pattern stays clean and balanced. No two pieces are exactly alike, which gives your customers a product with character and a story they can trust.

MATERIAL: NATURAL SEAGRASS

Seagrass is a plant fiber that is harvested, dried and sorted into long, even strands before weaving. Once coiled and stitched, it forms a firm structure with a warm, natural texture and a surface that softens gently with time.

Seagrass is renewable and plastic-free, which matches the growing demand from buyers and consumers for eco-friendly home goods. It is also lightweight, so the baskets are easy to carry, stack and ship.

THE SET: FOUR PIECES, FOUR USES

Each piece in the set has its own shape and role, so one purchase covers several needs.

• Basket with handles: a rounded body with woven carry handles, ideal for blankets, cushions, toys or laundry

• Round lidded basket: compact and tidy, the lid keeps dust out and hides small items such as accessories, cosmetics and stationery

• Tall lidded basket: extra vertical space for towels, magazines, yarn or pet supplies, with a knob lid for a finished look

• Shallow tray basket: an open, easy-reach shape for fruit, bread, keys or a decorative centerpiece

Because the pieces share one pattern and palette, they look coordinated whether displayed together or placed in different rooms.

DESIGN DETAILS

The diagonal split between dark brown and creamy white is the signature of this design. It gives a simple natural material a modern, graphic look. The white stitching running across the dark coils adds fine texture and rhythm, so the baskets look good from a distance and up close.

The tight coiled weave gives each piece a sturdy, self-standing shape, and the fitted lids and woven handles add everyday convenience. The neutral palette fits boho, Scandinavian, Japandi, coastal, farmhouse and modern interiors, which makes the set easy to sell across different decor styles.
