Every basket is shaped by hand. An oval form takes skill: the weaver must keep the curves smooth, the walls even and the coils tight from base to rim. The white thread is wrapped around the coils at regular intervals, so the pattern stays consistent all the way around. The handles are made separately, then attached by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike, which gives your customers a product with character and a story they can trust.

MATERIAL: SEAGRASS

Seagrass is a natural plant fiber that is harvested, dried and twisted into thick, even strands. Coiled and stitched in tight rows, it forms a firm wall with a warm, textured surface. The natural variation in the fiber gives this basket its soft mix of green and golden tones.

Seagrass is renewable and plastic-free, which matches the growing demand from buyers and consumers for eco-friendly home goods. It is also lightweight, so the basket is easy to carry, stack and ship.

THE DEEP OVAL SHAPE
