PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Seagrass Nesting Basket Set is a handmade collection from Vietnam, designed for buyers who want natural home products with a clean, graphic look. The set brings together three shallow, bowl-shaped baskets in graduated sizes. Each has a natural cream body wrapped in white thread, a bold black-and-white striped rim and two small loop handles at the sides.

Practical and decorative at once, it works for fruit, bread, keys, magazines, toys, towels and display. The baskets nest neatly inside one another, so they are easy to store and ship. For importers and retailers, it offers a clear story: natural material, handmade in Vietnam, and a three-piece set that sells as one collection with strong value.

MADE IN VIETNAM: THE CRAFT BEHIND EVERY BASKET

Vietnam has a long tradition of working with natural fibers, with skills passed down through families and craft villages. Tan Tien Factory builds on this tradition, working with local artisans who know how to coil, bind and shape natural materials into durable, good-looking home products.

Every basket is shaped by hand. The weaver starts from the center of the base and coils outward round by round, keeping each row tight and level while the sides rise into a smooth, even bowl. The black-and-white rim is wrapped by hand to follow the curve of the edge, and the loop handles are formed from the same coils, so they stay strong and blend into the shape. Each size in the set must be made to fit the next one, which takes careful control. No two pieces are exactly alike, which gives your customers a product with character and a story they can trust.

MATERIAL: SEAGRASS

Seagrass is a natural plant fiber that is harvested, dried and twisted into thick, even strands. Coiled and stitched in tight rows, it forms a firm wall with a warm, textured surface. The white thread wrapped around the coils gives the body a fine, rhythmic pattern, and the black thread on the rim adds a crisp contrast.

Seagrass is renewable and plastic-free, which matches the growing demand from buyers and consumers for eco-friendly home goods. It is also very lightweight, so the baskets are easy to carry and ship.

THE SHALLOW BOWL SHAPE

The wide, shallow form is the practical strength of this design. It gives easy access to everything inside, which suits serving, display and everyday catch-all use. The open shape works on tables, counters, shelves, entryway consoles and floors, and the baskets look attractive even when empty.

The graduated sizes mean one set covers many jobs: the largest holds bulkier items, the middle one suits everyday use, and the smallest keeps small things tidy.

DESIGN DETAILS

The black-and-white striped rim is the signature of this set. It outlines each bowl like a drawn line, which gives a simple natural basket a modern, graphic character and makes the nested stack look striking from above and from the side. The soft cream body keeps the look light and calm, and the small loop handles add a handcrafted accent without breaking the clean outline.

The palette suits Scandinavian, Japandi, boho, coastal, farmhouse, minimalist and modern interiors, and works well in kitchens, dining areas, living rooms and entryways.
