Every basket is shaped by hand. A tall cylinder with a matching lid takes skill: the weaver must keep the walls straight and the coils tight and even, and make sure the flat lid sits snugly on the rim. The mint green bands are planned row by row so each stripe stays clean, and the concentric pattern on the lid is matched to the body. The handle openings are cut and reinforced with white thread by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike, which gives your customers a product with character and a story they can trust.

Material: Seagrass

Seagrass is a natural plant fiber that is harvested, dried and twisted into thick, even strands. Coiled and stitched in tight rows, it forms a firm wall with a warm, textured surface.
