Every basket is shaped by hand. A tapered form takes skill: the weaver must widen the body steadily from base to rim while keeping the coils tight and even. The pink band is stitched row by row so the zigzag stays clean and level. The rope handles are tied in place by hand with white thread at each side. No two pieces are exactly alike, which gives your customers a product with character and a story they can trust.

Material: Seagrass

Seagrass is a natural plant fiber that is harvested, dried and twisted into thick, even strands. Coiled and stitched in tight rows, it forms a firm wall with a warm, textured surface. White thread running through the coils adds a fine, rhythmic detail, and pink thread creates the colored band at the top.

Seagrass is renewable and plastic-free, which matches the growing demand from buyers and consumers for eco-friendly home goods. It is also lightweight for its size, so the basket is easy to carry and ship.

The Tapered Shape
