Every basket is shaped by hand. A tall, square form with several color bands takes real skill. The weaver must keep the corners clean, the walls straight and the coils tight and even from base to rim, while the body widens gently toward the top. Each band must also line up at the same height on every side, otherwise the design looks uneven. The handles are made separately, then attached by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike, which gives your customers a product with character and a story they can trust.

MATERIAL: SEAGRASS

Seagrass is a natural plant fiber that is harvested, dried and twisted into thick, even strands. Coiled and stitched in tight rows, it forms a firm wall with a warm, textured surface. The white thread wrapped around the coils adds a light, rhythmic detail, and the natural variation in the fiber gives this basket its soft sage-green tone.

Seagrass is renewable and plastic-free, which matches the growing demand from buyers and consumers for eco-friendly home goods. It is also lightweight for its size, so the basket is easy to move, stack and ship.
