PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Seagrass Bowl Basket Set is a handmade storage piece from Vietnam, designed for buyers who want natural home products with a light, handcrafted look. Each basket is coiled in natural seagrass and wrapped in white thread, with small aqua and soft green blocks woven into the sides. The shallow, open shape and the neat coiled rim keep the design simple and clean.

Practical and decorative at once, the baskets work for fruit, bread, keys, remote controls, cosmetics, small plants and display. Sold as a set of two sizes, they give importers and retailers a ready-made bundle: natural material, handmade in Vietnam, and a fresh color accent that stands out from plain baskets on the shelf.

Made in Vietnam: The Craft Behind Every Basket

Vietnam has a long tradition of working with natural fibers, with skills passed down through families and craft villages. Tan Tien Factory builds on this tradition, working with local artisans who know how to coil, bind and shape natural materials into durable, good-looking home products.

Every basket is shaped by hand. A shallow bowl shape takes skill: the weaver must widen the coils evenly from the base to the rim while keeping the stitches tight and the curve smooth. The aqua and green blocks are planned row by row so each patch sits neatly in place. No two pieces are exactly alike, which gives your customers a product with character and a story they can trust.

Material: Seagrass

Seagrass is a natural plant fiber that is harvested, dried and twisted into thick, even strands. Coiled and stitched in tight rows, it forms a firm wall with a warm, textured surface. White thread running through the coils adds a fine, rhythmic detail, and colored thread creates the aqua and green accents.

Seagrass is renewable and plastic-free, which matches the growing demand from buyers and consumers for eco-friendly home goods. It is also lightweight for its size, so the baskets are easy to carry and ship.

The Bowl Shape

The low, wide body with sloping sides gives easy access to everything inside. It sits stable on a table, shelf or counter, and the open shape makes it just as suitable for display as for storage. The two sizes can be used separately or nested together to save space.

Design Details

The aqua and green color blocks are the signature of this set. They add a fresh, playful touch to the natural, creamy body, giving a simple material a light and modern character. The white thread detail adds a fine, handcrafted texture. The palette suits boho, Scandinavian, Japandi, coastal, farmhouse and modern interiors.
