PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Round Seagrass Bowl Basket is a handmade storage piece from Vietnam, designed for buyers who want natural home products with a bright, handcrafted look. Its wide, deep body is coiled in natural seagrass, with vivid pink stitching around the sides and blue stitching spiraling across the base and inner wall. The bold color blocks and the neat spiral weave make every basket a statement piece.

Practical and decorative at once, it works for fruit, bread, towels, toys, magazines, plants and display. For importers and retailers, it offers a clear story: natural material, handmade in Vietnam, and a colorful pattern that stands out from plain baskets on the shelf.

Made in Vietnam: The Craft Behind Every Basket

Vietnam has a long tradition of working with natural fibers, with skills passed down through families and craft villages. Tan Tien Factory builds on this tradition, working with local artisans who know how to coil, bind and shape natural materials into durable, good-looking home products.

Every basket is shaped by hand. A deep bowl shape takes skill: the weaver starts the spiral from the center of the base, then curves the coils evenly up to the rim while keeping the stitches tight and the walls smooth. The pink and blue sections are planned row by row so each color block sits cleanly. No two pieces are exactly alike, which gives your customers a product with character and a story they can trust.

Material: Seagrass

Seagrass is a natural plant fiber that is harvested, dried and twisted into thick, even strands. Coiled and stitched in tight rows, it forms a firm wall with a warm, textured surface. Pink and blue thread running through the coils adds a fine, rhythmic detail and creates the colorful pattern.

Seagrass is renewable and plastic-free, which matches the growing demand from buyers and consumers for eco-friendly home goods. It is also lightweight for its size, so the basket is easy to carry and ship.

The Bowl Shape

The wide, open body with a rounded base gives generous storage space and easy access to everything inside. It sits stable on a table, shelf or floor, and the soft outline suits display as well as storage. The spiral weave inside is as attractive as the outside, so the basket looks good even when empty.

Design Details

The pink and blue color blocks are the signature of this basket. They sit against the natural tan body like bold brushstrokes, giving a simple material a playful, lively character. The spiral weave at the base adds a handcrafted detail. The palette suits boho, eclectic, coastal, nursery, kids’ room and modern interiors.
